Meet PUGGLE Linen — the hard gel builder in a bottle, now in a soft sheer nude.

PUGGLE Linen carries everything that makes PUGGLE the newest essential in the PUG family — permanent hard gel strength, an enhanced self-levelling formula, and a purpose-built oval brush bottle — wrapped in a warm, wearable nude tone. At approximately 60% coverage, Linen is sheer enough to let the natural nail show through while evening out tone and adding a clean, polished finish. Think effortless, understated nails with serious hard gel durability underneath.

The shade sits in a similar family to Lastik HF Zaria and PUG Bliss — a soft, skin-flattering nude that works beautifully on its own or as a base under gel polish colour.

HEMA-free and TPO-free, formulated in the EU to EU cosmetic regulations. Compatible with all Planet Nails base products — Lastik is the standard recommendation, or Stick 'n Float for fully HEMA-free services.

If you love the idea of a hard gel overlay that looks finished straight from the lamp — Linen was made for that client.

USE CASES

Hard Gel Structured Manicure / Overlay — Bare Nail Look

PUGGLE Linen is the natural choice for clients who want the look of a polished, even bare nail with hard gel durability underneath. The sheer nude tone evens out nail colour, softens the appearance of the free edge, and adds a clean warmth to the nail without covering it. On clients with naturally even nail curvature, Linen can deliver a finished result straight from the lamp with little to no filing required.

French and Neutral Nail Styles

The soft nude base of Linen makes it a natural partner for French tip work, nude gel polish shades, and soft neutral nail art. Use it as the structural layer and carry the shade into the design, or apply gel polish over the top once cured and filed.

Tip Overlay

Apply over tip extensions as a structural overlay. The sheer nude tone helps blend the tip join and creates a natural-looking base ready for gel polish or top coat.

Short Sculptures Over Forms

PUGGLE Linen can be used to sculpt short extensions over forms. The sheer coverage gives a soft, skin-toned result suitable for natural-finish nail styles.

Hard Gel Infill / Rebalance

Use PUGGLE Linen to infill and rebalance existing overlays at the regrowth appointment. De-bulk as needed, apply to the new growth area and blend over the existing product, cure and file to finish.

ABOUT PUGGLE LINEN

PUGGLE Linen is the sheer nude shade in the PUGGLE hard gel builder in a bottle range — part of the PUG family, built on the same permanent hard gel formula, and designed for technicians who want a natural-finish result with real hard gel durability.

At 60% coverage, Linen sits in sheer-to-medium territory — enough to even out nail tone and soften the free edge, not so much that it masks the natural nail completely. The shade is warm and wearable, sitting in a similar tonal family to Lastik HF Zaria and PUG Bliss. It works beautifully as a standalone finish on clients who prefer a bare nail look, and equally well as a base under neutral gel polish shades.

Like all PUGGLE shades, Linen uses an enhanced self-levelling formula in a wider-neck 20ml bottle with an oval brush applicator. The wider neck reduces air introduction during brush withdrawal, keeping the product bubble-free. The oval brush head gives clean, precise placement at the cuticle area without reshaping the brush.

PUGGLE Linen is HEMA-free and TPO-free, manufactured in the EU to EU cosmetic regulations. For full product details, application protocol, removal instructions, and FAQs, see PUGGLE Clear.

APPLICATION — STANDARD PROTOCOL

1 Sanitise nails using The One Spray. Push back cuticles and buff to remove all traces of shine.
2 Apply nail tips if required, cut and blend (optional step).
3 Apply PN Nail Prep to the natural nail only. Allow to dry (optional step).
4 Apply PN Sticky Bond or Sticky Bond HF sparingly to the natural nail only. Allow to become tacky.
5 Apply a base coat layer of Clear Lastik, Lastik HF, or Stick 'n Float over the entire nail. Do not touch the cuticle or sidewall areas. Seal all sides of the free edge. Cure 60–90 seconds.
6 Apply PUGGLE Linen starting 1mm away from the cuticle. Float the product gently across the nail and allow it to self-level before making any adjustments. Use the oval brush to guide product to the sidewalls if needed. Seal all sides of the free edge. Cure 60 seconds (405nm LED) or 2 minutes (365nm UV).
7 Repeat with a second layer if additional structure or coverage is required. Seal the free edge and cure.
8 Remove the tacky layer with The One Spray and a PN Lint Free Wipe.
9 File to an even, smooth finish if required. Buff with a buffer to remove scratches. For clients whose natural nail curvature allows it, this step may be minimal or skipped entirely.
10 Wash hands thoroughly to remove product residue and dust.
11 Apply The One Spray to a nail wipe to sanitise. The nail is now ready for gel polish colour or top coat.
A note on the no-file technique
PUGGLE's enhanced self-levelling formula makes a no-file finish achievable — but client suitability matters. Clients with naturally even nail curvature, consistent sidewall depth, and no length or shape correction required are the best candidates. Where length, direction, or shape correction is needed, standard filing applies. The formula gives you the option — the nail decides whether to use it.

REMOVAL

PUGGLE Linen is a permanent hard gel — it is file off only and cannot be removed with acetone.

1 De-bulk the surface using the 100-grit side of a 100/180 file or an e-file de-bulking bit. File only the product surface — do not touch the natural nail.
2 Continue filing carefully until the product layer is thin. Switch to a finer grit to remove the remaining product close to the nail surface without damage.
3 Buff lightly with a buffer to remove any residue and smooth the nail surface.
4 Nails are ready for a fresh application.
Infill vs full removal
Planet Nails strongly recommends infilling over full removal where possible. De-bulk down to a thin even layer and apply fresh PUGGLE on top — the natural nail stays intact and the prep process is significantly shorter at the next appointment.
