  Q: What's the difference between nail prep and primer?
  A: Nail prep (dehydrator) removes moisture and oils from the natural nail, while primer creates a chemical bond between the nail and product. Nail prep is always applied first. Our acid-free prep is gentler than traditional primers and is ideal for sensitive nails.

  Q: Do I need to use primer after nail prep?
  A: For most gel polish and dipping applications, nail prep alone is sufficient. However, for acrylic applications, extensions, problematic clients or clients with extremely oily nails, you may want to follow with a primer (Sticky Bond or Primer) for extra bonding strength.

  Q: Does this replace the need for alcohol wipes?
  A: While nail prep dehydrates and sanitizes, we still recommend using The One Sanitizer on a nail wipe or mani brush first to remove any dust or debris from filing. Follow with nail prep for optimal results.
