PUGGLE is a hard gel liquid builder with the same file-off hard gel strength as PUG, in a fluid brush-on bottle format. Its enhanced self-levelling formula glides from the built-in oval brush, self-levels beautifully, and on the right client can deliver a finished result with little to no filing. For technicians used to BIAB-style application, the familiar brush-in-a-bottle format makes the transition to hard gel much more accessible.

PUGGLE can be used on any client as a hard gel builder for overlays, tip overlays, infills, and sculptures. The no-file or minimal-file finish is a bonus the formula makes possible, not a requirement for choosing it. When shape correction or filing is needed, file as normal. Available in Clear, Linen (sheer nude), and Petal (sheer pink).

Bottle design: PUGGLE's wider-neck 20ml bottle reduces air introduction during brush withdrawal, minimising bubbles in the gel. The oval brush head gives clean, precise placement at the skin fold area.

APPLICATION: STANDARD PROTOCOL

STEP 1: PREP Sanitise nails with The One Spray. Push back skin folds and buff to remove all shine.
STEP 1: PREP Apply nail tips or forms if required, cut and blend (optional).
STEP 1: PREP Apply PN Nail Prep to natural nail only. Allow to dry (optional).
STEP 2: BOND / PRIME Apply PN Sticky Bond or Sticky Bond HF sparingly to natural nail only. Allow to become tacky.
STEP 3: BASE Apply a base coat layer of your chosen Planet Nails rubber base. Do not touch the skin folds or sidewall areas. Seal all sides of the free edge. Cure under the PN Speciality Dual Cure Lamp for 60 to 90 seconds.
STEP 4: BUILD Apply PUGGLE starting 1mm away from the skin fold. Float the product gently across the nail and allow it to self-level before making adjustments. Use the oval brush to guide product to the sidewalls if needed. Seal all sides of the free edge. Cure under the PN Speciality Dual Cure Lamp for 60 seconds (405nm LED) or 2 minutes (365nm UV).
STEP 4: BUILD Repeat with a second layer if additional structure or length is required. Seal the free edge and cure.
FINISH Remove tacky layer with The One Spray and a PN Lint Free Wipe.
FINISH File to an even smooth finish if required. Buff to remove scratches.
FINISH Wash hands thoroughly to remove product dust and residue.
FINISH Apply The One Spray to a nail wipe and sanitise.
TOP COAT Apply Planet Gel Polish Top Coat. Seal all sides of the free edge. Cure under the PN Speciality Dual Cure Lamp for 60 seconds. Wipe with The One Spray and a lint-free wipe.
AFTERCARE Client to wash hands before applying any cuticle oil or hand cream.

REMOVAL

PUGGLE is a permanent hard gel: file off only. Cannot be removed with acetone.

1 De-bulk the surface using a 100/180 file or e-file de-bulking bit. File only the product. Do not touch the natural nail.
2 Continue filing until thin. Switch to a finer grit close to the nail surface.
3 If a rubber base was applied underneath, file to the base layer and soak off in acetone for approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
4 Buff lightly to remove residue and smooth the nail surface.
5 Nails are ready for a fresh application.
