LASTIK HF PLUS: HEMA FREE HARDER CURING BUILDER GEL
Lastik HF PLUS is the HEMA and TPO free version of Lastik PLUS: a harder curing builder gel with excellent adhesion. It’s self-levelling, makes creating an apex effortless, and is designed to be as strong as possible while still soaking off with acetone, with 3 to 4 weeks of wear.
Choose HF PLUS for HEMA free salons and HEMA sensitive clients who need a more durable result. Use it for structured (BIAB) manicures, gel overlays, short to medium tip extensions and short sculptures, and in place of Lastik HF for extra strength over Planet Vogue tips. Available in Clear and Nudes.

APPLICATION: STANDARD PROTOCOL
| PREP | Sanitise nails with The One Spray. Push back skin folds and buff to remove all shine. |
| PREP | Apply nail tips, cut and blend, or fit nail forms for short sculptures (optional). |
| STEP 1: NAIL PREP | Apply PN Nail Prep to the natural nail only. Allow to air dry. |
| STEP 2: BOND | Apply PN Sticky Bond HF sparingly to the natural nail only. Allow to become tacky. |
| STEP 3: BASE | Apply a thin layer of Clear Lastik HF or Stick ’n Float over the entire nail (a must for thin, flexible, brittle or lift-prone nails). Do not touch the skin folds or sidewalls. Seal all sides of the free edge. Cure 60 to 90 seconds (LED) or 2 to 3 minutes (UV). |
| STEP 4: BUILD | Apply a thin wetting layer of Clear Lastik HF PLUS (do not cure). Pick up a moderate bead and place it 1mm from the skin fold. Float it over the nail, using a liner brush to draw product to the sides without disturbing the apex. Seal the free edge. Cure 60 to 90 seconds (LED) or 2 to 3 minutes (UV). Keep each layer under 1.5 to 2mm. |
| STEP 4: BUILD | Repeat with another layer if more structure or length is needed. Seal the free edge and cure. |
| FINISH | Remove the tacky layer with The One Spray and a PN Lint Free Wipe. |
| FINISH | File to an even, smooth finish. Buff to remove scratches. |
| FINISH | Wash hands thoroughly to remove product dust and residue. |
| FINISH | Apply The One Spray to a nail wipe and sanitise the nails. The nail is now ready for top coat, Gel Polish colour or a French look. |
| TOP COAT | Apply Planet Gel Polish Tack-Free Top Coat. Seal all sides of the free edge. Cure under the PN Speciality Dual Cure Lamp for 60 seconds, then wipe with The One Spray and a PN Lint Free Wipe. |
| AFTERCARE | Client to wash hands before applying any cuticle oil or hand cream. |
REMOVAL
Lastik HF PLUS is a semi-permanent soak-off gel and is removed with acetone.
| 1 | De-bulk the surface with the 100 grit side of a 100/180 file or an e-file de-bulking bit. File the product only, never the natural nail. The more you de-bulk, the faster the soak. |
| 2 | Soak fingertips in acetone for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. PN Quick Soak Bowls with warm water in the base container speed up the process. HF PLUS cures harder than Lastik HF, so it takes longer to soak. De-bulk well first. |
| 3 | Gently slide off remaining product with an Orangewood Stick or soak-off scraper, working from skin fold to free edge. |
| 4 | Buff lightly to remove any residue. Do not over buff or apply pressure. |
| 5 | Nails are ready for a fresh application. |
