How to Fit Sanding Bands Correctly

1. Start with a clean mandrel.
   Make sure the mandrel is free from dust, debris, and product so the band sits flush.

2. Hold the sanding band straight.
   Don’t angle it or stretch it — keep it aligned with the mandrel.

3. Slide the band on firmly.
   Push it straight down until it reaches the base. It should fit snugly with no wobble or looseness.

4. Check for grip.
   Spin it lightly with your fingers. If it slips, replace the band — don’t try to “fix” a loose one.

5. Never force an oversized band.
   If it feels too tight or won’t slide on smoothly, discard it. Forcing it can crack the band or damage the mandrel.

6. Replace bands frequently.
   Sanding bands are single-use. Swap them between clients and whenever the grit feels worn or clogged.
