First Aid
Eyes: Immediately flush with plenty of water for several minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Remove contact lenses if present. Get medical attention if symptoms persist.
Skin: Take off contaminated clothing immediately. Wash with water and rinse thoroughly.
Inhalation: If feeling unwell, get to fresh air. If breathing has stopped, give artificial respiration and seek medical advice.
Ingestion: Gargle with water. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical advice immediately.
Handling & Protective Equipment
- Wear protective gloves (rubber or plastic, acid-resistant, elbow-length) and protective clothing
- Wear eye protection (chemical goggles or face shield) when necessary
- Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing; avoid breathing vapor or mist
- Wash thoroughly after handling; contaminated clothing should not be taken out of the workplace
- Keep good ventilation in the work area
- Store in a cool, dry location, away from fire and heat sources; keep containers tightly sealed
