Planet Nails Australia is headquartered at 8 Conara Rd, Kunda Park, QLD 4556, a combined showroom, warehouse, and office. The showroom is open to the public, so products can be bought in person, not just online.
The business moved to this Queensland base in 2021. Before that, it operated out of Melbourne, where it was founded.
Planet Nails started in South Africa, founded by our owner and her brother. They built it into the largest nail supplier in southern Africa.
Planet Nails Australia is her rebuild of that business from scratch, founded in Melbourne in 2013. It's a separate company from the South African business, not a licensed or affiliated branch of it, but the two share the same founder and the experience she brought with her. We've supplied professional nail products and education across Australia and New Zealand for 13 years since.

Our BIAB, hard gels, rubber base, acrylics, and essentials are sourced exclusively from the USA and EU, where manufacturing standards and ingredient regulations are among the strictest in the world.
We only supply products that are cruelty-free and free from animal-derived ingredients, with one disclosed exception: Kolinsky acrylic brushes, which use natural Kolinsky hair. We run five independent types of training: Absolute Fundamentals, Introduction to Design Fundamentals, Intermediate Conversion, Expert Workshop, and Bespoke Personalised Training, delivered by our Certified Educators, in-person, one-on-one, or online.
