Planet Nails Dual Forms #5 — The Long Square Form for Short to Long Square Extensions
PLANET NAILS DUAL FORMS
Dual forms are reusable plastic molds that let you build nail extensions and overlays from the top down — no glue, no paper forms, no hand-sculpting required. You fill the form with your chosen product, press it onto the nail, cure, and pop it off to reveal a perfectly shaped, glossy enhancement with minimal filing. Dual forms are a fantastic way to speed up your base structure, giving you more time to focus on design and finishing.
Unlike traditional tips, dual forms are reusable, fully customisable, and work with a range of systems — including Polygel (we love Planet Iconic), hard builder gels (like PUG), and acrylic. The key to great results is choosing the right form for your client's nail anatomy and desired shape — which is exactly what our numbering system is designed to help with.
Dual Forms #5 is the longest form in our range and is purpose-built for techs who want to create square and tapered square extensions at serious length. The straight longitudinal arch gives you clean, straight projection from the free edge — exactly what you need for a crisp, modern square shape — while the deep C-curve ensures strong sidewall coverage across the full length of the extension. What makes #5 a touch more accessible than #4 is the more natural internal apex, which gives a slightly less extreme profile and makes product placement a little more forgiving. Despite the deep C-curve, this form can be used across a range of lengths from short to long — making it one of the most versatile forms in the range for square nail lovers.
